Upcycling workshops

Every person produces hundreds of tons of waste per year! We all talk about recycling a lot nowadays, but how upcycling can help? Try to observe once, how much garbage you produce in a day or a week and you will be surprised. What about creating something new from waste instead of throwing it away, giving it a different shape and function? - let’s upcycle then!

Upcycling, comes from the Zero Waste lifestyle with the aim of transforming used products or waste materials into re-designed products with new purpose, in order to protect the environment.

Every upcycling workshop is published on our FB page, follow it to stay updated for new workshops:

TetraPack Wallet

There is a used plastic bottle, tin or tetra pack from juice in every household. Did you ever think how you can re-use them? Let us show you some really simple tips on how to do it. During our first workshop, which took place on the 13th of June 2019, we created a wallet from used TetraPacks.

The procedure is easy, so do not worry about it! So, if you are interested in environmental issues, this is great opportunity for you to gain some inspiration.

Bag from old curtains

Would you like to reduce the consumption of plastic bags when you go shopping? One solution could be to buy a textile bag, that was already made and pay around 3€ to 10€ per unit. However, you can also make one by yourself. This means that you won't waste your money, you will have fun and after all be proud of yourself that you've created something useful. Moreover, you will protect the environment not just by reducing the use of plastics but also by upcycling, because our bags for fruits and vegetable will be made from old (but of course CLEAN) curtains.
