In the first three workshop we learnt more about the history of the photography, the main feature of the camera and the theory of photography: lens and focal length, diaphragm and deep of field, shutter time, camera obscura concept, framing rules and many other things! Then we examined the main type of photography and the history and work of main photographers of the XX century: Dorothea Lange, Ansel Adams, Henri Cartier Bresson, Robert Capa and Vivian Maier. The workshop ended with a city photographic tour of Nicosia to practice what we had learned during the theoretical sessions.
